The new Geforce GTX 200 Series is out, what are your thoughts?

(Do NOT BUY THE 9800 SERIES, as the 8800GTX Still takes the lead)

There are 4 levels of the high ends (280's) and they range in price from 620-670 dollars on Newegg.

I suggest waiting a few months for the price to go down on these bad boys unless you are swimming in cash, plus the fact that most the drivers out for it are still beta. If you are needing an upgrade I highly suggest buying the awesome priced/awesome performance Geforce 8800 GT. (Price with mail in rebate ranges from 130-180) Or if you have extra cash, go ahead and snag the 8800GTX.

** Also, keep in mind that the ATI 4850 and 4870 will be coming out sometime next week, so I will definately be checking out the benchmarks for both, and see which is better. (It will most likely be the Geforce family that wins, with the ATI being only 60-80 percent as good, but then again, the ATI series will prolly cost half as much as the Geforce series.

ATI cards are meant for buying more than 1 for the best performance so keep that in mind. They are no longer even attempting to compete in the high end graphics market as far as single cards are concerned.
